Oceanus has partnered with Zarin's Professional Liability Publications to introduce an exciting risk management and analysis tool -- Healthcare Liability Review. Healthcare Liability Review is an analysis and editorial of actual medical malpractice verdicts, designed to assist in your efforts to reduce the risks inherent in your practice. This publication reveals actual medical malpractice cases, court decisions and eventual dispositions. Additionally, a synopsis follows each that reviews the case and provides a risk management advisory on how to prevent these exposures in your practice.
Also, as a value-added component to Healthcare Liability Review, you are eligible to earn up to 7.5 Category 1 AMA/PRA CME credits per year. The continuing education exam runs independent of the publication. Each calendar year offers a new continuing education series. The exam series, on-line or hardcopy, includes all the necessary case information to complete the exam without referring to your subscription issues.

This CME certified enduring activity is jointly sponsored by the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) – Center for Continuing and Outreach Education and Zarin's Professional Liability Publications.
Approximately 4 weeks after receipt of your completed test, you will receive notification from UMDNJ of whether you received a passing grade of 70% or higher. If you passed the test, it is your responsibility to provide a copy of this notification to your medical malpractice insurance broker. Your broker will then inform Oceanus Insurance Company that you are eligible to receive up to 5% credit on your premiums. This credit is applied only upon renewal of the Oceanus Insurance Company policy.
